Sami MacDonald: My name is Sami MacDonald and I am an aspiring broadcast journalist as well as a freshman on the High Point women's lacrosse team. I believe that we are all the authors of our own story. Our writing whether it be fiction, non-fiction, persuasive, or analytical, keeps our world evolving, fosters creative thinking, and inspires others to pursue dreams. That’s why I love writing. I want my words to matter to someone. I want to use my words to promote change. My goal in this class and throughout the rest of my journey at High Point University is to find my voice and share it with the rest of the world.
